- Australia has four large cities those four large cities are Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide
- Australia has population of over 22 million people
- The highest mountain in the mainland of Australia is Mt Kosciuszko
- It is now know that the estimated humans have lived in Australia for about 45000 years
- Australia is home to many unique and different animals. E.g: Koala, Kangaroo, Platypus, Emu and Kookaburra
- Australia has hosted the 1956 summer olympics for Melbourne and 2000 for Sydney
